I received most of the my clinical training in the VA system, and thus naively thought it was straightforward for find science-based mental health services everywhere (i.e., outside of the VA). I was wrong. Below are some links to help with that.
Anxiety and Depression Association of America: Find Help

Finding good information on applying to PhD programs in clinical psych can be tough. Below are resources I hope are helpful for those looking into that path:
Mitch Prinstein’s Professional Development Resources
Project SHORT (a great student-run mentoring org for grad applications)
I have opinions. Some of those pertain to science-adjacent programs, apps, and techniques that a) could be helpful for others and b) the people behind these things deserve some unsolicited praise because they are great. Plus, it’s my website so I can do what I want. All opinions and endorsements are my own and do not reflect those of UT or any other entity.
Zotero is my reference manager of choice, and I highly recommend you give it a try. I have been a Zotero diehard for a while and this is my form of shouting my endorsement out from the tallest mountain.
Scientific writing can be hard. The popular Pomodoro Technique is my go-to for when I need to get serious about my writing. The PomoDoneApp, which I use in conjunction with Todoist, is my preferred app solution for this technique, and I highly recommend it.
